These sandals were long enough for my almost-3 yr old boy who wears a size 8 in other shoes. But the were not wide enough. His feet are still a little bit chubby--like baby feet--and so I could barely get these sandals on him and then the immediately cut into the sides of his foot leaving a mark and looking very uncomfortable. I ordered up a size, and the 9 is working well for him.
It's possible that with an older child you could "break in" the 8 and it would have worked. I just can't really gauge my 2 yr old's level of comfort or discomfort well enough to try that. --so that is why I opted to just go up a size.
Other than the width issue, I love these sandals. Cute style, classic little boy, love that they can go in and out of water, and they seem comfy. My son asked to wear them today after wearing them for the first time all day yesterday. I bought a similar pair for my 4 yr old daughter as well.
These shoes have held up great with my busy toddlers. Very durable and I love that they can get wet!

Wow was I surprised by these. Super sturdy construction, seem to go with my entire wardrobe. Elegant enough for a dress, casual enough for jeans. Can't wait to buy in other colors.
My sister turned me on to these, and I've since bought two pairs, red and gold. I love them! They have a cute, vintage look, that works with my vintage/repro wardrobe, they're well made and fit me perfectly after just one afternoon. I did take the packaging advice and got them damp when I first wore them (I basically slipped them on directly after taking a shower, so my feet were wet.) I have wide feet but these are plenty wide enough; I wear a women's 9-9.5 and bought the BigKid 7/Women's 9.
Great sandal and I've gotten compliments everywhere I go. I usually wear an 11 but ordered a 10 since people said they run large. The 10 seems kind of short in length but the width fits so nicely that I'd be afraid the 11 would stretch out too much causing my foot to slide forward. I'm planning on treating myself to another color since there are such a great variety!
My daughter likes these sandals even though they are a tad big on her. We bought them for our Hawaii trip and there were no complaints. What was nice was that she was able to get them wet without any worries about the leather. They are well made and would highly recommend.

Wow! Wow! and Wow! I cannot speak highly enough of this company. We ordered them very late on the Saturday night of a bank holiday weekend and they arrived by Royal Mail on the following Thursday and I was kept informed by text every 'step' of the way (couldn't resist the pun sorry!). This included me getting a text & email with a copy of her signature minutes after she had signed for them. With free delivery and free returns this company certainly goes the extra mile ...outstanding from start to finish!
