The 3989 Brogue was first manufactured in the mid-1960s and is a
‘longwing’ style brogue, meaning the panelling on either side of the
shoe meets at the back of the heel. Popularised as a smart work shoe,
today it’s a statement of classic style. This version features a flexible,
cemented sole to support little feet.

I do not usually leave reviews but in this instance felt I should. This company - from my ordering the shoes, to returning them because they were to small, to having a refund, were refreshingly competent, pleasant, professional and a pleasure to deal with, Thank you.
Wow! Wow! and Wow! I cannot speak highly enough of this company. We ordered them very late on the Saturday night of a bank holiday weekend and they arrived by Royal Mail on the following Thursday and I was kept informed by text every 'step' of the way (couldn't resist the pun sorry!). This included me getting a text & email with a copy of her signature minutes after she had signed for them. With free delivery and free returns this company certainly goes the extra mile ...outstanding from start to finish! Carlsberg don't do shoe sales, but if they did...!
